Terms of Service

Draft — pending legal review. Last updated 2026.

These terms govern your access to and use of SB products and www.sbassistant.com. By creating an SB account, you agree to them.

Your account

You're responsible for activity under your SB account and for keeping your sign-in secure. The account owner manages billing and may add or remove members. You must be authorized to act for the business you register. A single account can hold more than one SB product (for example, Time Tracker and Project Management) on one bill; adding a product to an existing account doesn't start a new trial — it inherits your account's current trial or read-only status. You can own one account, and you may also be a member of other businesses' accounts.

Trial & billing

New accounts start with a 30-day free trial of the full feature set, no credit card. If no card is added by the end of the trial, the account becomes read-only for 90 days (your data is preserved and visible). If no card is added during that window, the account is cancelled and its data is permanently deleted, except records we must retain by law (such as invoices for tax), which we anonymize. Paid plans are billed per active seat, in advance, and renew automatically until cancelled. Annual plans are not pro-rated on cancellation; you keep access through the paid term.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no unlawful activity, no attempts to breach security or access other tenants' data, and no reselling without our written agreement.

Your data

You own the data you put into SB. We process it to provide the service as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export it at any time.

Changes & termination

We may update the service and these terms; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes. You may cancel at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
