New Settings Invoices

Choose your billing currency

Time Tracker now speaks your currency. Pick the one your business bills in and it flows through every amount in the app — rates, dashboards, reports, invoices, and PDFs. The default is still US Dollars, so nothing changes unless you choose otherwise.

Setting it

Head to Settings → Company and use the new Currency picker — start typing a code or name (e.g. "EUR", "yen", "pound") to find it among the full ISO 4217 list. A live preview shows exactly how amounts will look, including currencies that use no decimals (¥1,235) or three (Gulf dinars).

A few details worth knowing

  • No conversion. Switching currency re-labels your existing rates and totals — a 150/hr rate stays 150, now in the new currency. It does not convert amounts at an exchange rate. We'll warn you before the switch (and you can turn that warning back on any time from the same page).
  • Invoices remember their currency. Each invoice is stamped with the currency it was created in, so a past invoice keeps reading correctly even if you change your company currency later.
  • Clear on documents that leave the building. Invoice PDFs, the client portal, and overdue reminders show the three-letter code next to the total (e.g. $1,234.56 AUD) so recipients are never left guessing which dollar.
