Track expenses, attach receipts, and bill them to clients
You can now log project expenses alongside your time — travel, software, meals, anything you spend on a client's behalf — and move them through the same kind of approval flow your timesheets already use.
How it works
Head to Expenses to log a cost against a project: a date, an amount, a description, and whether it's billable to the client or reimbursable to you. Attach receipts too — JPEG, PNG, WebP, or PDF, up to 10 MB each. Submit an expense for approval, and a manager approves or rejects it (a rejection comes back with a reason so you can fix and resubmit).
Where you'll see it
Managers get an Expense Approvals page to review what's pending, open receipts, and approve or reject in one place. Approved billable expenses flow straight into the invoice wizard as line items, and they show up on your profitability reporting — so the numbers reflect real project costs, not just hours.
