Export the time entries behind an invoice

When a client asks what exactly am I paying for?, the invoice line items don't always tell the whole story. You can now download a companion CSV of every time entry that makes up an invoice — the raw hours behind each line, ready to attach alongside the PDF or reconcile in a spreadsheet.

What's in the file

One row per time entry, with these columns:

  • Invoice #, Line item, Date, Team member, Project, Activity, Description, and Hours.

Hours are decimal (so the column sums cleanly), and dates are in your company time zone. The file is deliberately hours-only — no rates, amounts, or internal notes — so it's safe to hand straight to a client.

Where to find it

On the invoice page, use Export entries (CSV). You can also grab it from an invoice's row menu on the /invoices list without opening the invoice first. Every export is recorded in the audit log.
