A project picker you can actually browse

Logging time used to start with a project already chosen for you, written as something like PH:Development. That was two problems in one: a code you never picked standing in for the company name, and a field that read like a label rather than a question — so nothing told you that any other project existed.

Every project field in Time — the entry dialog, quick add, the timer, expenses — now opens a list you can browse. Projects are grouped by company A–Z, with your recent work and favorites on top and anything without a company last. Each row carries the project's color and its company, so two companies that each have a "Website" project are finally distinguishable. Selected, the field reads Development · Pinehurst Homes. Empty, it tells you the size of the choice: 5 projects · 2 companies.

Search, client codes included

Start typing and the list ranks the matches, highlights what matched, and puts the company on a second line. Client codes still find their projects — typing PH still turns up Pinehurst Homes' work, even though the code no longer clutters the name.

Nothing is pre-picked, and it's still one tap

No project field fills itself in any more. Speed comes from things you can see instead: the timer offers a Resume pill for what you were last working on, and the quick-add panel keeps its one-tap recent chips.

The same picker now backs the Company dropdowns on invoices, estimates, retainers and reports — searchable, with archived work hidden unless you're reporting on it. On reports, choosing a company narrows the project list, and both filters list only the companies and projects you can actually reach.
