Report date ranges, timesheet audit trail and budget card fixes
Three fixes from a round of testing: clearing a report's date range, timesheet approvals in the Audit Log, and the dashboard's budget card.
Reports and date ranges
- Clearing the date range on the Projects, Companies or Timesheets report and pressing Run Report no longer shows "Something went wrong". The report runs for the last 30 days, and the picker shows that range.
- Clearing the date range on Expenses, or on a project's Time tab, no longer breaks the page either. Expenses then lists the last 90 days and shows that range, and Export CSV uses the same range.
- The Projects report's budget column is now labelled Budget Used (Period). It compares the hours in the range you picked with the project's whole budget.
Timesheets in the Audit Log
- Submitting, withdrawing, approving, rejecting and unapproving a timesheet are now recorded in Settings → Audit Log, with who did it and when. Each entry names the person and the week, a rejection includes its reason, and automatic approvals are recorded too.
- Approving several timesheets at once tells you how many were approved if some couldn't be. You can approve up to 100 at a time.
Dashboard
- Projects At/Over Budget now counts all the time logged on each project, the same figure the project page shows. It used to count only the last 30 days, so a project well over its budget could still read as under 80%. The card refreshes every few minutes.
