Time off requests and a company holiday calendar
Your team can now request time off, managers can approve or reject it, and the whole company shares one holiday calendar — all wired into the numbers you already rely on.
Requesting time off
The new Time Off page (in the left menu) lets anyone pick a date range, choose a type (Vacation, Sick, Personal, Unpaid, or Other), and submit a request. Full days count each person's expected daily hours; you can also set a partial-day amount. Weekends and company holidays are excluded automatically, so the hours are calculated the way you'd expect. You can cancel a pending request anytime, or an approved one any time before it starts.
Approvals
Managers get a new Time off tab on the Approvals page — a queue of pending requests with one-click approve and a reject-with-comment flow. Requesters are notified by in-app bell and email on submission and on every decision. Approving your own request is blocked unless you're a company admin (the solo-founder case).
Holidays and capacity
Company admins can manage observed holidays on the new Settings → Holidays page. Holidays and approved time off now flow into the numbers automatically: the Profitability report and the dashboard utilization band reduce everyone's working-day capacity for holidays and subtract each person's approved time off, so someone who's fully out no longer looks like idle capacity. The utilization CSV gains a PTO Hours column.
Fewer nudges when you're out
The daily "don't forget to log your time" reminder now stays quiet on company holidays and on days you have approved time off. My Time also shows a small badge for holidays and your own approved days off in the current view. Admins can set an optional annual PTO allowance per person under Settings → Users, which drives a simple balance chip.
