A separate profile in every company you belong to

If you work in more than one company in SB Time Tracker, signing in to one of them could move your profile out of the other. Your rates, capacity and time history stayed where they were, but the profile they hung off had followed you to the company you had just opened, so teammates in the other company stopped seeing you in people lists and pickers.

You now keep a separate profile in each company you belong to, and signing in to one leaves the others exactly as they were.

What changed

Two things that used to get tangled together are now kept apart.

Your profile is matched inside the company you are signing in to, never across companies. One person in two companies has two profiles, each with its own role, rates and capacity, and neither one moves.

If someone added you to a company before you first signed in, by invite or by importing a list of people, your sign-in now joins that existing profile instead of creating a second one beside it. Everything already recorded against you stays attached, and duplicate entries in people lists stop appearing. Matching ignores capitalization and stray spaces around the address, so a list that spells it "Ada.Lovelace@Example.com" still finds you.
